Ingredients:
- 30g of yeast
- 80g of sugar
- 500g of white wheat flour
- 3dl of milk - full fat
- 80g of butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 10g of salt
- Lemon peel
- 1 chicken egg
- 3 tablespoons of ground pumpkin seeds
Preparation:
Crush the yeast in a small bowl. Add a tablespoon of sugar and a tablespoon of flour to it. Add half a deciliter of lukewarm milk. Cover the bowl and leave to rise for 15 minutes.
Melt the butter in a pan. Leave the melted butter to slightly cool off. Add sugar, egg yolks, salt and lemon peel.
Shake the flour in a bowl and add butter with other ingredients and ground pumpkin seeds. Add the fermented yeast and the remaining milk.
Knead everything together into a smooth dough.
Knead the dough, cover it and leave it to rise for about 30 minutes to achieve double the size.
Then knead the dough again, shape it as desired and place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Cover the dough and leave it to rise for another 20 minutes.
Coat the dough with scrambled egg and bake for 60 minutes at 180°.
