• 1 kg of smooth flour
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 7 dl of milk
  • 1 dl of pumpkin seed oil
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • ham, cheese or any other filling of your choice

Procedure:

Sift the flour into a bowl, make a hole in the middle, crush the yeast in it and add a little warm milk. Be careful to measure the milk from the prepared seven decilitres, otherwise your dough will bee too soft. You can also add a teaspoon of sugar to make the yeast start working faster.

When the yeast rises, add the rest of the milk, salt, add the egg and pumpkin seed oil and knead the dough.

Form eight loaves and then let them rise. During this time, prepare the ham, which we cut into strips (I cut five strips from one piece), grate the cheese and scramble one egg, which we will need for coating.

When the loaves have risen nicely, roll them out into thin circles, cut them into 12 or 16 pieces, place a strip of ham on each and roll. Let them rise a little more on the baking tray, coat them with egg and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Bake for about 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 220 degrees Celsius.

You can also make some croissants empty and sprinkle them with sesame on top, you can fill them with jam, walnuts, chocolate filling … We make the ones we like best.

Enjoy your meal!
